Year 1 had a fantastic trip to the Energy from Waste plant! The children enjoyed an interesting talk all about how energy can be created from rubbish before heading off on a tour of the plant. They were especially excited to see the enormous claw picking up the waste and dropping it into the incinerator. We then enjoyed a lovely picnic in the sunshine back at school.
